DITRON High Precision Digital Caliper When you have a high precision tool that can measure not only the external diameter, but also the internal diameter, depth and step, you will find fun in your daily work. Ditron large screen digital calipers are essential to ensure that your material dimensions are always accurate. It has thumb roller, locking screw, mm / in quick switch, large LCD display, auto on / off, zero calibration and long standby batteries. Note: You may find some scratches on the screen, please do not worry, it is brand new and not used. We stick a plastic film to protect the screen.
The film is removable, once removed, it is perfect. Four measuring mode Outside Diameter Measure the outer diameter or length of an object with the two long jaws. By clamping the object between the two parallel sides of the long jaws and fixing it in place. Inside Diameter Measure the inside diameter of objects with the two short jaws. Put the two short jaws inside the subject, roll the thumb roller to against the subjects inner diameter. Depth Measure the depth of objects with the long probe on the end of the caliper. Put the probe into the objects inner part and roll the thumb roller to measure it’s depth. Step Measure the step with the two short jaws.
Set the caliper vertically on the surface, roller the thumb roller until the upper short jaws’ lower section is parallel to the step. Change Battery Face down, clamping screw facing you (down), thumb wheel facing up. Using the small screwdriver provided, remove the screw on the same side as the slide clamping screw. After unscrewing the screw, the battery cover on the opposite side will be loose, and the battery can be easily changed.
