- π· Features - This 6.5l pump mounted driver PMD FSD, which can directly replace damaged or malfunctioning modules. It is installed on the diesel injection pump to help control the operation of the pump. Maintains proper fuel pressure over the full operating range of the engine. The fuel injector fuel pump drive worked as expected, noted the improvement in the engine performance immediately..
- π· Installation - To install a new 6.5L PMD, the fuel injection pump must be tested for current. Worn fuel pumps burn them on the PMD. In most cases, the main cause of the failure is the exhaustion of the fuel pump. We also sell PMD relocation kits that can be installed in the engine compartment cooler section. Keep in mind that repositioning does not solve the fuel pump failure, it actually increases the resistance of the circuit and may fail more quickly through the length.
