- PEX A TUBING: Designed for potable hot and cold plumbing applications, this durable and freeze-resistant water supply line piping features the highest rated flexibility, allowing for longer runs and fewer connections while reducing time, cost, and potential leak points.
- COMPATIBILITY: PEX-A tube is approved for use with PEX expansion (F1960).
- DURABLE: PEX type A coil is composed of strong and sturdy polyethylene for long-lasting reliability, allows for faster installation when compared to rigid pipe, features a 3 month UV resistance, and is the highest rated for chlorine resistance.
- FLEXIBLE AND FREEZE RESISTANT: PEX-A water line piping protects against kinking and features the highest rated flexibility so that it may easily bend around corners; flexibility allows for it to be fastened by cold expansion, which allows the end to be fluted prior to inserting the fitting to accommodate expansion style fittings which provide less flow restriction and can increase water pressure where needed.
- SPECS: Expandable PEX tubing rolls feature a minimum working temperature of 33 degrees F at 160 PSI, and a maximum working temperature 200 degrees F at 80 PSI; maximum working pressure is 160 PSI at 33 degrees F to 70 degrees F.
