Brasstache was created to goof things up. As a company made up of Chicago musicians, we know learning an instrument is as challenging as it is rewarding. Wondering which size to order? For Trombone, Baritone, and Euphonium, most beginning students start on a small shank/bore instrument.
Generally students will not move to a large bore instrument until High school or College or once they change instruments. We believe this to be the case 90 percent of the time.
