Description Titanium powered anode rod is terrific for getting rid of sulfur smells on well water. Turns out there's bacteria in the well water that feasts on the Magnesium anode in normal water heaters and their waist has a sulfur smell.
If you take that out and replace it with this powered anode, which you need electricity to go to only a couple Watts. It does a great job and protects the water heater, but there is no smell anymore.
