- CGA520 valve installed.
10 cu. ft capacity MC acetylene cylinder, High-quality steel construction with rust-resistant grey paint. Fusible metal safety relief alloy built into the body of the valve. Calcium silicate filler reinforced with alky-resistant glass fiber, asbestos-free. Please note: Acetylene cylinders require a shell inspection every 10 years.
They also require an initial porous filler inspection at 5-20 years from the date of the manufacturer. This test is to be done no sooner than 5 years and no later than 20 years from the date of manufacturer. The Shell inspection is marked with an 'S' and the Porous Fill inspection is marked with an 'F'. Does not contain acetone.
