They are high quality, dry, lightfast, odorless, alkali and weather resistant, UV stable, non-hazardous, chemically inert and water insoluble. But have fun! Experiment with creating your own custom colors! It’s as simple as adding more or less of the pigment to the concrete.The instructions are very simple: Just mix the desired amount of pigment in with the dry concrete mix and add the water as per the concrete manufacturer’s directions. We’ve found that about one cup of pigment to an 80 pound sack of concrete gives us a good shade with most colors. But experiment until you get a shade that works for you.
